valleyDo you have faith in God? I couldn’t breathe without faith. I inhale and I know that there’s air for me. Being a believer requires faith, because that’s when the devil deliberately passes over millions of people on the earth, and targets YOU. You can’t do it without God.

Built in the Valley

Faith in God gives you more of Him (His wisdom, deliverance, protection, understanding, favor, and more) than you would have otherwise. I got a revelation on faith earlier today: Faith is built in the valley of the shadow of death.  That’s when there’s noone there but you and God. It’s also when you discover that your deliverance came from Him and noone else. (more…)

What is your biggest life problem today? Do you need a miracle? Have you reached your deadline, or are you just at the breaking point in some area of your life (finances, job, family, home foreclosure, addiction, health, anxiety, or other?). Mustard Seed Faith: The Prerequisite to Growing More Faith

Faith takes faith. In other words, you have to have some faith in order to have more faith in order to have undaunted faith (See Matthew 17:20 below):

Mat 17:20  And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Note: See ‘Key Elements of Faith: Do You Believe?’ for more on building your faith.

You have to start with a little bit of faith and build it over time until you know God intimately and see for yourself how great He really is. (more…)

Is everything going your way? I would venture to say no. You probably woke up this morning with a plan, but the moment you got out of bed you were irritated by everything and everyone around you. Here’s something you should know: things will NEVER go 100% your way 100% of the time. Otherwise, you would be God. And I’m afraid to say you’re every bit as mortal as I am—and we are not God. What we need to be doing is learning how to live a joyful and peaceful life despite our circumstances. In short, we need to adjust our attitudes because the same determines our altitude.

If you don’t already know, this clip is the Intro from a classic American show called, “Greatest American Hero.” And what’s the point of me posting this video, you ask? It’s to illustrate that faith requires you to fly, or to at least try. You have to step out of your comfort zone (the nest) and take the chance of trusting in God. That is the only way to ever really achieve all that He wants you to achieve in life, and to fulfill your true calling.

Excessive reasoning is contrary to faith. God is a Spirit, and He is unseen, so to speak. Consequently, faith is required in order for one to believe in God. Excessive reasoning convinces us that we have to see something or someone in order for them to exist. It’s reasonable to reason. That’s because we are fleshly, and we depend on our five senses and our ability to think logically and assess situations to make many of our decisions.  However, being too logical with our thoughts will prevent us from achieving the levels of faith and breakthrough that God desires for us.

The substance of things hoped for, based on KJV Hebrews 11 in the Bible. See verse one below:

Heb 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Going Deeper
I want to analyze this verse further. Do you see what I see in the title (before we even get to ‘the substance of things hoped for’)? What I’m referring to is, ‘Faith IS’. ‘It’ is. Everything you want or desire IS. Faith is knowing ‘it is’. It is what? It is there! Your victory, your breakthrough, your accomplishment is there by faith.
